The Peasants Are Revolting: a Gallows Corner Story

Pitch: Welcome to England, 1376. The Great Pestilence has subsided, and half the people lie dead. The church continues to manipulate our lives. The nobles continue to profit from our labour. The king continues to ignore our suffering.

Yesterday, they hung one of us from the gallows. But we who remain are angry, we have seen death, and we won't take it anymore. We shall burn down the decaying structure of old, and we shall remake England anew. Join us, as we wage the great Peasant's Revolt!

Details: An English language session of the TTRPG "Gallows Corner", a rules-lite roleplay heavy experience in which the players (and the player/GM serving as "narrator") explore an England wracked by civil war and rebellion. Players take on the role of medieval peasants, making use of their skills and work experience to wage war on the crown. Build retinues of followers, undermine the authority of the lords, and build a new world for every man woman and child!
